A true pioneer…Pamela Weston, Founder

Pamela Weston began her early career as a transcriptionist. Eventually she became so proficient in her skill and knowledge that she decided to start a school that would reflect her strong family orientation.

Medical Transcription proved to be the perfect pathway to helping people transition into a family-friendly career.

Using her own experience as a transcriptionist, Pam carefully developed our special step-by-step training system. As a result of her vision, our distance-learning course in Medical Transcription is unlike any other offered today. Students and graduates always comment on how much they enjoy the program and how easy it is to complete.

The early success of Pam's course led to the formation of At-Home Professions in 1981-- since that time we have trained literally thousands of students to be ready to enter the exciting and fulfilling world of Medical Transcription
